Event Details

Trace the history of Toronto’s domestic animals, from the gutter pigs who roamed the streets, to the thousands of horses that transported people and goods. In the 19th century, residents lived and worked among a large population of domestic animals that performed crucial labour and supplied people with much needed resources.

**Note: The tour on September 15 will be our first ever dog-walking tour. We invite you and your furry friend to participate in this walk, but require pre-registration as spaces are limited.

Start Point: Berczy Park (35 Wellington Street East)

End Point: Corktown Commons Park (155 Bayview Avenue)
