Event description

Description

Join us as we launch our Sixteenth Annual Report on Ontario where we will be discussing the labour force participation of youth, women, older workers, and Indigenous peoples in Ontario.

This year, in addition to the presentation of the report results by Tiff Macklem, Chair, Ontario's Panel on Economic Growth & Prosperity, and Jamison Steeve, Executive Director, Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity, we are looking to hear from you on implementing our proposed policy recommendations for four groups: (1) youth, ages 15-29; (2) women (3) Indigenous peoples; (4) older adults (55+ years).

In a new interactive format, we want to hear your idea's on improving labour force participation of these four groups. Come with your minds open and ideas ready!

Our goal is to consider how we can close Ontario's prosperity gap by raising the participation and employment rates and outcomes of these four groups.

SCHEDULE

7:30 am - Registration and breakfast
8:00 am -
