The world has changed a lot over the past two years as we all know. The pandemic caused global disruption in our way of life, shifting our expectation of normal over and over again. Women and children living in abusive homes have been deeply impacted by the isolation, insecurity and unknown that COVID19 brought with it.

The demand for our services grew significantly as a result and we have worked around the clock to meet the needs of the community. We have been here 365 days a year, 24/7 to support people in shelter, through outreach, family support and other essential resources. This luncheon will be a time to share with you what we have learned, what we have done and what our vision for the future is.

This event will be a chance to talk about resiliency, strength, and determination in the face of adversity as a community. It is sponsored by Royal Lepage Truro who has been supporting us as we look to develop our services to include safe pet sheltering.
