Description

The Anxiety Aid Kit provides caregivers and young people strategies and tools to help manage symptoms of anxiety. The Anxiety Aid Kit contains different items that will alleviate the symptoms of anxiety felt by the young person, as well as, explain the benefit of each item. Providing a range of strategies in one location can build the young persons resiliency, as they become more confident in their ability to manage symptoms of anxiety.

Presenter:
Tracy Mulligan, M.S.W., R.S.W., is a graduate from the University of Windsor. She has worked in many avenues of mental health, from the prison system, school board, and residential settings. Currently Tracy is a Clinician at the Military Family Resource Center in Trenton. Within her role she helps children, adolescents and families manage the emotions that are associated with the military lifestyle and deployments. These emotions, typically include stress and anxiety. Most of her role is in the capacity of counselling/therapy, with the remainder on facilitation.


This workshop is intended to be a learning opportunity for parents and professionals and, therefore, it is not appropriate to bring children under 12 years old to this event. Thank you for understanding.
