Register now for the upcoming workshop Anxiety Unplugged, which will be faciliated by Leanne Sawchuk and Jazmine Tufford-Singh. This workshop will be on April 18th, April 25th, May 2nd and May 9th from 7:00-9:00pm. The workshop will be held at Open Sesame, which is located in downtown Kitchener.
The goal of this workshop is to allow for a deepening around how you experience anxiety. The workshop will be set up in such a way where we will create space within a relaxing and soothing atmosphere to see how safely we can dig and then process what we find. This workshop is not about managing the symptoms of anxiety, but is intended to get to the root of your anxiety which will help to increase your awareness around it and then allow for healing.
Each week, Leanne and Jazmine will have a very specific theme in place which will gently and safely allow for further exploration and processing. Collaboratively, you will explore anxiety from a mind/body perspective with a strong focus on mindfulness and art-based techniques.
There will be ample time within these intimate sessions dedicated to inward reflection as well as witnessing and sharing. This workshop will really allow for and adequate amount of time and space to share and process your individual experience in the presence of others who share in the same struggle/challenge.
