APEGA Outreach is pleased to host the first annual Outreach Volunteer Information Session on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at both the Calgary and Edmonton APEGA offices. Whether you have volunteered for K-12 or University events in the past, or whether you have been interested in volunteering but weren’t sure what it’s all about, this event is for you!
This session will cover the following events currently offered by APEGA Outreach:
- Science Olympics
- Rock & Fossil Clinics
- Rapid Resume Reviews / Virtual Resume Reviews
- Speed Mock Interviews
- Industry Mixers
- Speed Networking
There will also be an opportunity to learn about future initiatives and to collaborate with other volunteers to brainstorm ideas for APEGA.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and there will be plenty of time for networking with other volunteers.
