About this event
Film Synopsis: A black Sci-Fi flick about an individual named Evan, who struggles to find his purpose & calling in the world as he feels the world & society is so uninvested in him, he does not feel the need to invest back. He lacks self-worth & lives his life recklessly, cuts corners & does not want to work past his fears & daily struggles, leading into his own demise at the end of story.
Brief Description:
The goal for this event is to spread awareness to giving people of minorities more working opportunities in the job market, specifically targeting the film industry. This film was a predominately a minority cast and crew, yet this was made a group of exceptionally young artists and filmmakers who wanted a shot to make their own budgeted short film. A non-profit organization, Canada Institut, partnered with production companies, Apex Visual Productions and Bantu Media to make this dream a reality in earlier March 2022 which lead to the development of this film.
More info to come at the public screening event taking place this upcoming Thursday, December 15th 2022.
