You will benefit from this workshop if you:
• Are a healthcare worker working with stroke clients across the continuum
• Wish to learn techniques to communicate more effectively with clients with aphasia
A personalized certificate of attendance will be given to all participants. This certificate can be used to obtain continuing education credits according to each profession’s rules and regulations.
• To introduce healthcare workers to Supported Conversation for Aphasia (SCATM), helpful strategies and techniques to enhance knowledge base and ability to communicate with clients with aphasia.
