ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training): An intensive, two-day workshop that helps people to recognize risk and intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Designed for anyone in a position of trust, including service providers, teachers, youth workers, emergency workers, counsellors, faith leaders, community volunteers, family and friends.
Approximately one week prior to the workshop, all registered participants will receive a confirmation email, advising them of the workshop location/address, and any details you will need to know.
***There is a maximum of 4 participants per organization. Please register individually.***
This training is open to those who work and/or live in Waterloo Wellington areas.
