According to the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD), it is estimated that, by 2025, as many as one in five jobs in the province will be in the skilled trades. An apprentice learns a job by working with a skilled supervisor in that area as well as attending technical classroom training. Attend this workshop to explore Ontario's trades across four sectors, how to qualify and register as an apprentice, find a sponsor, and get money or grants to help you pay for apprenticeship training and tools.
