What to expect:

5:30-7:00 - Workshop
7:00-7:30 - Community Building Exercise

Sharon's workshop:

  • What is Mindfulness, as defined by research
  • Formal mindfulness meditation
  • Informal mindfulness practices
  • An activity on the benefits of mindfulness
  • An activity exploring mindfulness in daily life
  • Discussion on mindfulness in relation to work and business
  • Initiating a personal mindfulness plan.

Sharon Davison is an adult educator (B.Ed. Adult), a Certified Money Coach (CMC) ® and a past Employment and Work counsellor. Sh.e is a graduate of the Applied Mindfulness Meditation program at U of T (specializing in the Mind at Work stream) and creator of ‘Mindful Living’, an 8-week program grounded in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Sharon has been facilitating mindfulness training, courses, workshops and retreats since 2010. Moving to the Okanagan in 2015 she began facilitating Mindfulness and Money Coaching related activities to the general public, not for profits, and businesses. In May 2018, she will lead her first residential Mindfulness Meditation retreat in Kelowna.
