Session lead by Brian Kenny with panelists Renate Pohl and Crystal Laffoley sharing their perspectives on the production work and hiring practices of the theatre industry in our province. This session is aimed at anyone in a position to hire production design and technical arts professionals, but we encourage all theatre practitioners to attend to contribute to the conversation.

Using their extensive experience and formal training, the panelists intend to illustrate the problems preventing our industry from developing and maintaining sustainable work practices.

The goal from this session is work towards a culture that nurtures and develops talent in the technical arts while sustaining and realizing the demands and dreams of the professional theatre community.
