Art of Living: Architecture Series

Two Homes in Port Hope

9:45am to 6:00pm Saturday October 16, 2010

artScene’s popular Art of Living: Architecture series next installment takes us out of Toronto to the town of Port Hope for a tour of two extraordinary domiciles.  The tour of the homes is led by the designers and the home owners, providing insight into the process and resulting spaces.

The Vermeulen residence is a beautiful modern home designed by Stephanie Vermeulen.  The home is situated on a ravine, and is designed to take advantage of its scenic setting.

The Blecher Residence, designed by Teeple Architects, is a unique home that rises out of the landscape, opening up to panoramic views of Lake Ontario.

This is a rare opportunity to see inside of two custom designed homes that should not be missed.

Ticket price includes transportation from the Steam Whistle Brewing in downtown Toronto on the Steam Whistle Bus, soft drinks, and a boxed lunch.  A limited number of tickets are also available if you want to provide your own transportation to and from Port Hope.

Thanks to the generosity of Steam Whistle we are able to offer tickets for $40.  Steam Whistle will also provide 1 complimentary beverage at the Roundhouse upon return to Toronto.

Due to the available space there are a limited number of tickets available.  As all of the previous house tours have been filled to capacity we encourage you to get your tickets early.

Please arrive on time for the bus departure.
