In the spirit of celebrating the wealth of local talent in our community, both on-campus and off-campus, we gather to raise funds for students artists. This black tie-gala event features work from a one-of-a-kind juried exhibition that is then made available by donation from the artist to raise funds for the UBC Okanagan art and media students.

Over 100 works of art are collected from students, local artists, alumni, and faculty/staff. One Arts Patron ticket admits two people to the gala event and also guarantees one work of art from the collection to take home. The order in which you may choose from that collection is determined throughout the evening raffle. Even the last ticket drawn has a choice from more than 25 works, which creates an atmosphere of suspense and entertainment. The Arts Supporter Tickets guarantee one person entrance to the event and a chance to receive an art gift or a donated prize from local merchant supporters at the end of the evening.

Funds raised from this event are provided to the Visual Arts Course Union to financially aid with professional development events such as the 4th year graduation exhibition, visiting artists, and art focused student trips.

Each year, 10% of the proceeds go to a local organization. This year, the Sncewips Heritage Museum will be the recipient.
