Mixed Company Theatre is proud to present a series of FREE workshops in partnership with Toronto Public Libraries and the Toronto Arts Council!

In this workshop, learn how to tell your own story with creative writing, movement and theatre games.

More about the Workshop:

Tell your story through creative writing and movement in this workshop series led by experienced artist and educator, Julia Hune-Brown. No previous writing experience or movement/ dance experience is required. Improve your writing and verbal skills, English language learners are welcome! You will engage in body movement activities, and learn to use simple storytelling and writing techniques to craft a performance!

About the Artist:

JULIA HUNE-BROWN is an actor, educator and community artist. For the past six years, she has been working with diverse communities facilitating movement and theatre workshops here in Toronto and internationally. Her workshops have an emphasis on identity and expression through movement and have used dance and theatre to discuss issues of immigration, race and rights.
