Mixed Company Theatre is proud to present a series of FREE workshops in partnership with Toronto Public Libraries and the Toronto Arts Council!

In this workshop, teens will learn to communicate, connect, and create dialogue on any topic under the sun through improv theatre, digital media, and stories.

Explore spontaneous, unscripted theatre, with experienced artist, Pavla Uppal. Work on your ability to communicate with others beyond differences and leave behind any inhibitions in this fun, safe space where you can be yourself. Learn how to create theatre from anything. Creation just needs community! No experience needed.

About the Artist:

PAVLA UPPAL is a theatre artist and an educator at Your Story Matters facilitating understanding in the diversity of our society. She advocates for theatre arts to be an essential part of community life and learning. During her applied theatre career, she has so far created theatre projects, directed shows, taught arts residencies, and facilitated numerous projects. She is passionate about human stories and uses them to create a more just world.
