Event description

Description

The Edmonton Arts Council and the Edmonton Heritage Council will be hosting two workshops to inform artists, community members, and those with an interest in telling the stories of Edmonton about grant opportunities. You’ll learn about eligibility requirements, hear from past recipients, and have the opportunity to ask our staff questions about how best to put together an application.

Grants that will be discussed include the Edmonton Arts Council’s Artist Project Grants and Cultural Diversity in the Arts Project Grant, as well as the Edmonton Heritage Council’s Project Accelerator and Project Grants.

*Please note that somebody will be on hand to answer any questions in Spanish.

This session's panelists are:

  • Marco Claveria – musician (2013 & 2016 Project Grant for Individual Artist recipient & CDA Project Grant jury)
  • Erika Vela Namsechi – visual artist (2015 CDA Project Grant recipient)
  • William LeBlanc – musician (2016 CDA Project Grant recipient)
  • Adriana Onita – poet/visual artist (2016 CDA Project Grant recipient)

If you can't make it to this session, please note that there will be another session on Tuesday, September 5th.
