“FILM SLAM” - A BEGINNER’S FILMMAKING WORKSHOP FOR INDIGENOUS ARTISTS

When: Friday, May 26th (6 PM to 8 PM) - Opening reception

May 27th & 28th, Saturday, and Sunday (9 AM to 4 PM) - Instruction

Where: Charlotte Street Arts Centre – Fredericton, NB

artsnb is proud to present “FILM SLAM”, a beginner’s film workshop created for the aspiring Indigenous filmmakers of the future! This two-day workshop will provide Indigenous artists (ages 16 and up) with a hands-on opportunity to learn about filmmaking by taking part in the making of a short film. No experience required! Learn the components of planning, filming, and post-production from experienced, connected and respected Aboriginal filmmaking professionals working in the industry.

Participants are encouraged to bring in their own mobile device or camera, if possible.
