About this event
After a two-year pandemic hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the return of ArtsPark 2022 with COVID-19 safety protocols in place!
ArtsPark 2022 will be Sat. June 18th and we are looking for artisans to sell handcrafted items throughout the day from 10 am to 4 pm (the festival runs until 10pm).
ArtsPark has been a prominent event in our community throughout the years. The event features live music and dancing, fun activities for kids, food and beer, artists creating in real time, an amazing "art throw down down", and of course an artisan fair where you come in!
This is the registration page to purchase a table to sell your handcrafted items.
What can I sell? Crafts, paintings, books, sculptures, art, photographs, clothing...anything creative! We ask that all items for sale are made by the vendor, we are promoting local artisans. We are asking that no one bring commercially made items. If items are made overseas, there is a fee that needs to be paid to the city. No sales reps please. Anyone selling sauces/dips/baked goods/honey etc must adhere to the City of Ottawa's requirements for Food Vendors at Special Events.
How do I register and pay? Via this site with a credit card by 11pm on June 10th. Spaces are $70 each. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt. All proceeds go to support the Hintonburg Community Association
What is the vendor space set-up? Each vendor will pre - assigned a 10 x 10 foot space. You are welcome to purchase a few spaces if you need a larger set up. You must bring your own tables, chairs, tent/canopy/umbrella if you need one (the show goes on rain or shine...most vendors really prefer an overhead cover for the sun and especially for rain), tie downs/sandbags/anchors. The artisan fair takes place on the roads (so you are grounding any equipment on pavement) along side Parkdale Park on Hamilton street from Wellington to Armstrong AND/OR on Armstrong between Parkdale and Hinton
What COVID-19 protocols will be in place? Protecting the heath and safety of our vendors and attendees is our number one priority. For this reason, we request that all vendors wear a mask at all times when selling their products. We will also supply hand sanitizer and extra masks at each booth. All attendees will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask as well.
When do I set up/take down? Items can be unloaded after 8:30 am. Your car will need to be parked elsewhere however during the day. Volunteers will be onsite after 8:30 am. The street is closed until 5pm, so take down is from 4- 5pm.
How can I contact the organizer? Please email Jessica Stark at craftfair13@gmail.com or 613-262-5125
What's the refund policy? Refunds will be issued up to 1 week before the event. If you are not able to make it, let us know as soon as you can as another vendor may be waiting to join!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No
Is there parking for vendors? There is parking in and around the neighborhood. We will strive to have an arrangement in place and will let you know closer to the event.
How do you promote the event? This festival has been running for many years and we have a pretty strong following in the community, that being said - we promote the event on social media and our website Hintonburg.com . Closer to the event we will circulate ways you too can promote the event by sharing our poster on your social media sites. Add your website address and social media links to your registration page and we can link to your site from our event pages too!
