About this Event
ArtWorksTO: Skills for a Creative Future provides opportunities for youth media artists (18-29) who identify as Indigenous, Black and People of Colour and/or 2SLGBTQ+ to gain professional experience, skills and network in the media arts industry.
Join us for an online talk featuring the Project Manager, a program alumni, an advisory committee member and the Youth Liaison to learn more about the Foundations stream and if it is right for you. The Foundations stream application deadline is January 3, 2021 at 11:59 PM.
ArtWorksTO is a partnership between the Toronto Arts Foundation's Neighbourhood Arts Network (NAN), City of Toronto, The Remix Project, and Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCADU).
This robust program includes:
- Paid project contract with the City of Toronto, OCAD U, Toronto Arts Foundation, and /or The Remix Project
- Mentorship with industry advisors delivered by The Remix Project
- Employment support through the City's Toronto Youth Partnerships & Employment (TYPE) program to provide assistance with employment goals, including education, training and wellness support (optional)
