Join Autism Ontario and Coordinated Access for an ASD Info Fair.
Join us for an evening of information, sharing and networking!
Many agencies who provide support and service for children (0-18) with ASD will be onsite for parents and professionals to connect with.
There will be a keynote address from Daniel Share-Strom - Daniel is a writer who is on the spectrum, an autism advocate, motivational speaker, worship facilitator, and partner in Autism Goggles social initiative determined to 'rebrand autism' to focus on ability and strengths. Daniel will speak on "Autism Parents Rock - The Top 12 Things Parents of Kids with ASD Want You To Know"
***Please note: there will be simultaneous translation into French during our keynote speaker***
Marnie Potter, Family Support Coordinator for Autism Ontario, will speak on the topic - Diagnosis, Now What? This talk is geared at parents who have just received their child's ASD diagnosis and will help them to navigate local systems.
Sandwiches and light refreshment will be available.
5:45pm - onsite registration and check-in begins
6pm - exhibit hall opens with agency booths
6:30pm - Daniel Share-Strom (in separate room, booths remain open)
7:15pm - break from speakers
7:45pm - Marnie Potter (in separate room, booths remain open)
8:30pm - end of speakers
9pm - end of evening
