The theme of this month's meeting is Past President's Night and the event includes a visit from society president Darryl Boyce.

Event Description:

The event will include a social, Tapas-style meal, and speeches from Region 2’s Vice Chair Research Promotion, Mark Lawrence, and Director & Regional Chair, Jeff Clarke, and Society President, Darryl Boyce, who will address his presidential theme.

50/50 will be offered - attendees are reminded to bring cash to participate.

About President Boyce:

Darryl K. Boyce, P. Eng., is ASHRAE’s President for the 2019-20 term. Boyce has previously served on the board of directors as treasurer, vice president and director-at-large. He is the recipient of ASHRAE’s Distinguished Service Award, Exceptional Service Award and Regional Award of Merit.

In addition to his time served on the Board of Directors, Boyce has served as chair and coordinating officer for the Finance Committee and chair of the Members Council, Appointments Roadmap Committee and President-Elect Advisory Committee.
Boyce has held ASHRAE Society-level leadership roles on many standing committees, technical committees and presidential ad hoc committees.

Boyce is special advisor to the Vice President of Finance and Administration and was previously an assistant vice president in facilities management and planning at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. He has made contributions to creating a built environment since 1974.
