We will be offering canapes and hors d’oeuvres during the networking, followed by a five-course plated dinner consisting of soup, salad, seasonal sorbet, main entree, dessert, coffee and tea. Your choice of the main entree is to be selected at the table. Red and white wine will be available during dinner at each table.

Presentation Title: Insider Risk Management, Value and Victories

Through various initiatives and focused collaboration, we are closing the knowledge and skills gap on Insider Risk Management in Canada.

This session will cover key considerations and value add when building out an Insider Risk Management program in your organization; we will also highlight a recent successful collaboration in the Canadian landscape that is bringing together Academia, Private and Public Sectors to advance a proactive posture to Insider Risk Management, including identification, response, and awareness in Canada.

Speaker Biography - Victor Munro and Lina Tsakiris, CPP, ITPM

Victor Munro is a Federal Public Service Security Lead at Accenture Canada, providing end-to-end integrated security risk management solutions for federal security clients. He is a Ph.D. candidate, sessional lecturer, and Executive Director at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Ottawa, Canada) and leads the Canadian Insider Risk Management Centre of Excellence. As part of his work at Carleton University and Accenture, Victor has been a lecturer, provided training to Fortune 500 companies and spoken at industry forums on insider risk management.

Ms. Lina Tsakiris, CPP, ITPM is the Director of Strategic Security Partnerships, as part of a Canadian-based, multinational financial institution’s global Corporate Security leadership team. In her current role, Lina is responsible for driving innovation and strategy into Corporate Security programs and initiatives through her established global partnerships in academia, public and private organizations.

Lina has almost three decades of global security experience and has held various senior leadership roles where she has led and supported teams in global security operations, employee & executive protection, security threat assessments, major incident management, physical security technology, robbery prevention and insider threat.
