Share ASIST: Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

Event Details

The ASIST workshop emphasizes suicide first-aid. It provides information on how to help a person at risk stay safe and seek further help. 

During this two-day workshop you will learn how to:

  • Recognize invitations for help
  • Reach out and offer support
  • Review the risk of suicide
  • Apply a suicide intervention model
  • Link people with community resources

Applied Suicide Intervention Training is held over two consecutive days. Participants must attend both days.

FEE:

$210.00 per person
Student: $100.00

Spaces are limited! Register early.

Due to high enrollment, spaces will not be guaranteed until receipt of payment. Payment must be received within 5 business days of workshop. Please provide minimum 24 hours notice to cancel or defer your registration. Last minute cancellations or absences are non-refundable.

Student subsidies: We have 4 student subsidies available at $100.00 each, awarded on a first come, first serve basis and upon receipt of payment. To register online at the student rate, please contact Bernice McArdle at (807)345-5564 for the discount code.
