Event description

Description

Talking to kids about the their bodies, how babies are made, and how the baby got onto the 'tummy' can be tricky.
Come out to the Askable Adult and build the skills to talk to your kids about body science, boundaries, and how to stay safe from sexual abuse and stand up to unwanted touch.
You will leave:
  • Prepared to talk about safe and unsafe touching
  • More confidence to talk to your kids about how to handle unwanted touch
  • With age appropriate resources to answer the 'how babies are made' question
  • Clarity about your own family values and how to share them with your child/ren
  • Knowing what the elementary Physical and Health Education Curriculum includes and how to support ongoing body science and boundaries learning at home.
RSVP: by April 20, 5pm - Limited spaces available.
