*This is a two day course - Sat Oct 19 and Sun Oct 20*

This intensive course is designed for anyone looking to learn the ins and outs of the Locations Department, as well as for those preparing to upgrade to the ALM category.  

Topics covered include the role of Locations during pre-production, handling preliminary permits, the tech survey and production meeting, location security, and the role of Locations during Production. In addition, all paperwork that Locations is responsible for will be discussed. Day 2 will cover the Accounting aspect of working in Locations and the process of map making.

Yes, registration is required for this event.

Is this event open to everyone?

No, this event is open to DGC Full and Associate Members currently in Good Standing and participants in the Guild Apprentice Program. You must have pre-paid and registered for this event through this page. There will be no payments taken at the door.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your ticket as confirmation of your registration.

What is the refund policy?

If you notify the Training department within 48 hours of the event that you can no longer attend, you may request a refund for the course.
