  • An understanding what an audit is and the reasons for an audit.
  • Eight elements of health and safety management systems.
  • A review of applicable legislation. Auditor certification and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarization with auditor responsibilities and Code of Ethics.
  • Introduction to the complete audit instrument package.
  • Detailed familiarization with the steps in planning, conducting and completing the audit.
  • Information on the preparation of the audit report.
  • Submission requirements for the audit report.
  • Expectations and quality assurance of the CCSA.
