Description
As part of Canadian Stories Week, Winnipeg Children's Literature Roundtable is happy to host Authors at the Roundtable. Enjoy a meal and the opportunity to chat in an intimate setting with authors of young adult fiction. Authors attending include those who have won or been nominated for the Manitoba Young Readers' Choice Award, as well as some amazing local authors.
You won't just share a meal with one author, you will share a meal with three! During each of the three courses, a different author will sit at your table. Following the meal there will be an opportunity to mingle with all of the authors, as well as some book signing.
Books by our attending authors will be available for purchase by McNally Robinson Booksellers throughout the evening. There is also a chance to try your luck with our themed silent auction. (Please note that there is no ATM on the premise.) Raffle liscence number: LGA#1201RF
Each table sits 7 attendees, with the 8th chair reserved for an author. This event is rush seating.
If you have a group of seven attending and wish to reserve an entire table, please send an e-mail to wclr.online@gmail.com with a list of the seven people who will be sitting at that table.
