 Edge of the Box Theatre Group/Troupe de théâtre Edge-of-the-box

 Join us weekly for the Edge of the Box Theatre Group starting Tuesday September 12th , 2017 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for 9 weeks. This event is in English!

Joingnez-vous à la troupe de théâtre Edge-of-the-Box, une fois par semaine, pour une aventure de neuf semaines à compter du mardi 12 septembre 2017, de 18 h 30 à 19 h 30. Cet événement se déroule en anglais!

For children with ASD only, for ages 14-18  years. Cette aventure théâtrale s’adresse aux enfants TSA de 12 à 18 ans.

There is a one time $40.00 fee, per child, due at the begining of the first class/Frais d'inscription de 40 $ par enfant 

Additional dates: September 19th and 26th, October 3rd, 10th, and 24th, November 7th and 14th.

This fun and motivating approach gives each participant the opportunity to explore their unique expression through theatre games, role-playing, improv, story telling and body movements./Cette approche amusante et motivante fournit à chaque participant ou participante l’occasion d’explorer sa forme particulière d’expression tout en s’initiant au théâtre, aux jeux de rôle et à l’improvisation, ainsi qu’à l’art de raconter et de bouger sur scène.

Please come prepared in comfortable clothing./Il est important de porter des vêtements souples et confortables.

General FAQ


1.) Do I need to print out ticket or email confirmations to attend this event?

For most of our events there is no need to print anything, unless the event specifies otherwise.  When you arrive at the event, you will have to check in at the registration desk.  You will be asked for your name and how many people are attending with you.  That's all.


2.) Do I need to bring proof of diagnosis?

No, not needed.  Again, just check in at the registration desk and enjoy the event.


3.) Is there a cost to attend this event?

Almost all of our events are free of charge because the cost is covered by Autism Ontario's Potential Programme, in partnership with Ontario’s Ministry of Children & Youth Services and the local Autism Ontario Chapter.  If there is a cost, you will see it on the registration page when you select how many ticket you want.


4.) Do I need to be a member of Autism Ontario to register and participate?

No.  While membership does provide other great opportunities, events provided through Autism Ontario’s Potential Programme are open to all families of children with ASD, under the age of 18, who reside in Ontario.
