KIDS’ CONFERENCE

During the conference we will be providing fun kids’ programming during sessions 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and a kids’ movie night during session 7. Parents need to make sure that their kids ages five and up have with them weather appropriate shoes, coats, hats, mitts, etc. as we will be using the Farmers’ Market pavilion (across the road) to use as space for fun outdoor activities!

Check In: At the downstairs check-in table at least 10 minutes before the 10am session 2 and 10 minutes before the 1:30pm after-lunch session 4.

Pick up: At the Farmers’ market pavilion at 11:50am after session 3 and at 5:00pm after session 6.

Movie Night: During the Saturday session 7 starting at 7:30pm, we will be offering a movie night with popcorn for kids ages five and up in the basement hall. We ask that parents with kids taking part bring a blanket for their kids to sit on during the movie.

Food & Allergies: Snacks will be provided for kids during the sessions where there is kids programming. Please indicate any food allergies during the registration process, and we'd be happy to accommodate! Our kid's spaces are nut and dairy free.

HOW CAN I GET THERE?

If you live in Ottawa/Gatineau but have no way of getting to the conference, let us know during registration and we will arrange transportation. If you can give people a ride to and from the conference, please let us know during registration.

WHERE DO I PARK?

There is a parking lot behind the church building that holds about twenty cars. This lot also contains a handful of accessible parking spots. After this is full there is plenty of free on-street parking behind and in front of the building. There is also a free parking lot behind the building across Beckwith Street and in front of the building across Bridge Street.

WHAT ENTRANCE DO I USE?

We ask that everyone enter and exit the venue through the front main doors off of Bridge Street. The entrance at the back of the building off Beckwith Street is our operations/accessible entrance and we’d like to keep this as clear as possible.

WHERE CAN I STAY?

Out-of-town guests looking for a place to stay with members of All Nations Church can let us know during registration. If you are looking for a place to stay, you must let us know by Sunday, November 12. We will let you know where you are staying by Wednesday, November 15 provided there are spaces available. For those looking for a motel/hotel, there are a few accommodation options in and around Carleton Place. Here are a few suggestions:

7 West Motel (Carleton Place) $
River Breeze Inn (Carleton Place) $$
Barons Motor Inn (Carleton Place) $$
The Grand Hotel (Carleton Place) $$$
Colonial House Motor Inn (Perth) $
Best Western Plus (Perth) $$$
Comfort Inn Ottawa West (Kanata) $$
Holiday Inn & Suites (Kanata) $$$

If you are able to host out-of-town guests in your home during the conference weekend, please indicate how many guests you can accommodate during registration.

WHERE CAN I EAT?

Drinks, coffee and snacks will be provided during the Saturday morning sessions 2 and 3. For lunch and dinner there’s plenty of dining options in Carleton Place, ranging from fast-food to casual and finer dining.

ACCESSIBILITY

There are accessible parking spots at the back of the building off of Beckwith Street. These spots lead to a wheelchair accessible entrance and an elevator that provides access to all of the floors of the building. A key is required to operate the elevator. If you need access to the elevator, please indicate so during registration.
