Our Annual General meeting will be held on Wednesday November 2nd from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ambrosia Events Centre. (Doors open at 11:00 AM)
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Tyndall, who serves as the Executive Medical Director at the BC Centre for Disease Control will be our guest speaker, presenting facts about supervised injection sites and what they mean to our communities.
"Dr. Tyndall is a strong advocate and leader for public health in Canada and has fostered a number of community-based collaborations that have led to health policy changes. He was the co-founder of Physicians for Refugee Health and has advocated for enhanced harm-reduction interventions and the de-criminalization of drug use."
