Nolan Beanlands is a passionate champion for the Ottawa startup ecosystem. He currently works as the Executive Director of the Capital Angel Network, the region's largest and most active angel group. He previously ran the Startup Garage program out of the University of Ottawa. Through Capital Angels, Scaleup Garage Startup Garage, Founder Institute and iD Gatineau, Nolan's worked with over 100 startups in helping them secure the millions of dollars in funding and sales that allow them to scale their teams. Nolan and his wife Meghan have two wonderful daughters aged six and (almost) one.

Camelia Barrit joined Ottawa Community Loan Fund in 2016. As a Senior Loans Officer, she helps build strong and lasting business relationship with clients and partners. With over seven years of experience in lending and employment services, she finds happiness and the sense of fulfilment by nurturing and looking after her clients. As a mother of a two-year-old, Camelia defines success as a journey! She strongly believes the long-term picture of personal and professional growth gets built up by overcoming daily challenges and obstacles.
