BACD Business Fundamentals: Financials and Operations

Starting a business is hard and that’s where we come in. Our mission is clear – we are here to help you Achieve Business Success. We have the resources for small businesses to grow. We help you build the action steps necessary.
BACD’s Business Fundamentals series includes the Start up Session as well as Marketing & Sales, Business Planning and Finance & Operations. The Start Up Session is held weekly and the other 3 are all held every month rotating between morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
These sessions are ideal for budding entrepreneurs and those considering opening their own small business and a great place for you to start exploring the fundamentals of starting a business.
This session is an online format. Most times there are at least 10 – 20 people in each session. They are a group of like minded people that all have many questions about starting a business. It is also a great start to making contacts for your business. This session is presented by BACD’s advisors who have all been entrepreneurs themselves

In this session we discuss Financials/Accounting and Operations. By understanding the accounting and financial principles and developing these operational strategies, you can create effective and efficient systems for running your business profitably and growing it.

- Putting together a cash flow budget and a sales forecast
- Pricing your products & services
- Financial statements e.g. (Income Statement, Cash Flow and balance sheet)
- Tax deductible business expenses
- Banking and payment processing options
- Tips for record keeping
- Managing your library of knowledge
