In this 2-hour, hands-on workshop, Master Gardener Sean James will share his tricks & techniques for successful backyard composting.
About this event
Composting is a simple rewarding activity we can do in our own backyards to turn food scraps into nutrient-rich soil. By keeping food out of our landfills, we also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by encouraging aerobic decomposition and reducing the activity of methane producing microbes.
Our 2-hour Composting Workshop will teach you all the techniques you need to successfully compost in your own backyard. Presented by Sean James, Master Gardener and owner of Sean James Consulting & Design, this will be an interactive event, so prepare to have fun and get your hands dirty!
