Build on your basics and learn the progressions and strategies to improve the pressing and pulling strength in your practice.

About this Event

The session will comprise of two parts with a short lunch break in between.

Using rings or bars, The first session of the day will help build awareness and strength in order to master the Pull Up. Types of movements to be explored include CARs stretching and warm up routines, bodyweight strength exercises light plyometrics, stretches and strength exercises for the hips.

Our studio is located in beautiful downtown Guelph with many great lunch spots and coffee shops. we invite you to explore the town on your short coffee break. There will be coffee and a baked good avilable at the studio as well.

The second section will cover the Over Head Press and Front Squat. Using the StrongFirst approach to developing the skills of strength, participants will use the kettlebell for training the hardstyle strength skills. Prioritizing mobility and emphasizing tension and technique, experience the kettlebell like never before.

No experience necessary. Beginners and professionals welcome.
