The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Simcoe County Branch and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit are applying to establish a supervised consumption services (SCS) site in Barrie. CMHA Simcoe County will operate the SCS in collaboration with local and regional health and social service providers.

On behalf of the two organizations, Optimus SBR, a third-party consultancy, would like you to join us for an invitation-only virtual consultation session to hear your thoughts on the proposed locations for a SCS in Barrie. These community consultation sessions on the identified locations will inform decision making on which proposed location will be chosen to move forward for endorsement by the Barrie City Council. Findings from the consultation sessions will also be incorporated into the application to the Ministry of Health, Government of Ontario for a Supervised Consumption Services site in Barrie.
