Barter Based Event - Soap Making
Event Information
About this Event
Join us in Bedford at Angela Greene Martin's place and learn to make your own soap. There are lots of things that you need to bring to this workshop, so please read the following list and feel free to reach out if you don't have any of these things handy:
1. containers to use as molds for your soap (you won't be able to use these for food again) - silicon baking mold, orange juice or milk cardboard (not plastic) containers
2. Gloves, apron and safety glasses, please wear a long sleeve sleeve shirt to the class
3. essential oils if you would like a particular scent for your soap (we will have some at the workshop too so no need to purchase)
4. Barter items for Angela - olive oil, wine (not sweet), Just Us coffee, bath bombs, cat friendly plans, or planters
5. A face mask for any parts of the workshop where we won't be able to stay at a good distance.
Allergy Notes: the ingredients we are using might have been in contact with nuts and Angela has two friendly cats.
Location Note: this event is hosted by LSH John Street, but is being held at Angela's home on Bedford (15 Belle Street, Bedford, NS)
