Event description

Description

Simon Stringer, of Tow Ropes and T Bars, has a goal to ski and photograph all of BC's 35 ski resorts in one season while raising funds for BC Adaptive Snowsports. His goal is to inspire everyone to access the wilderness around them and seek winter adventure. He'll be talking about his endeavour and the important role that BC Adaptive Snowsports plays in mountain access. Simon will be joined by Fannie Smith of BC Adaptive Snowsports.

BC Adaptive Snowsports facilitates alpine access for people with varying physical and cognitive limitations and provides opportunities to experience the joy, freedom, and health benefits of snowsports. In order to provide high quality programming, they rely on a combination of paid staff and a strong base of volunteers. As a registered charity, donations and fundraising is important to maintain the program and provide mountain access to as many people as possible.

If you would like to donate to BC Adaptive Snowsports, we will be taking donations in-store during the event. Alternatively you can find their big orange "donate" button on their website!

The event will include drinks and snacks as well as the chance to win some great prizes!
