Description

Presented by Capilano University, the North Shore Black Bear Society and Raincoast Conservation Foundation this evening event will explore co-existence with bears in British Columbia.

Charlene Aleck from the Tsleil-Waututh Nation will welcome guests and the Takaya dancers will then perform. Our featured speaker is Doug Neasloss, Stewardship Director for the Kitsaoo Xais-xias Nation. Following Doug a panel of other experts will discuss solutions to co-existence with bears in British Columbia.

Guests will be able to view a collection of wildlife photography and learn from numerous community partners supporting conservation efforts.
