Description
On November 20th, join us as we explore the paradox of economic growth, abundant assets, talent and opportunity contrasted by a backdrop of disruption, risk, uncertainty and at times self-inflicted policies and trends that impede success around both the kitchen table and the boardroom table.
Polling and surveys confirm that businesses and the public at large are anxious about the future. For many Canadian business leaders, our country’s competitiveness challenges, skilled labour shortages and escalating world-wide protectionism are all taking a toll on confidence, particularly against the backdrop of slowing global growth.
What can we do to position our economy for the future and generate shared prosperity for British Columbians and Canadians? Don't miss this dynamic day-long exploration of the challenges and opportunities before us.
The B.C. Business Summit brings together over 450 leaders from business, academia, government, Indigenous communities and the next generation. We have a line up of international, national and local leaders and disruptors to hear and interact with, as well as unique special guests that will make this year’s event as thought-provoking, action packed, and of as much value as you’ve come to expected from at past Summit programs.
Speaker and additional event details will be released over the coming weeks.
