About this event
BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services is hosting a Virtual Info Session on February 9 for interested health care professionals. This session will focus on the Enhanced Care Housing (ECH) Services and Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) team. Join us to learn about relevant program and hiring information for a variety of full-time positions available, including Occupational Therapist, MSW/BSW Social Worker, Outreach Worker, and Registered Nurse/ Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN).
- ECH supports clients who are not found criminally responsible or unfit to stand trial due to mental disorders, assisting with transitioning out of the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital and into the Community Transitional Care (CTC) housing program located in Coquitlam.
- The FACT, based in Surrey, is a newly established service delivery model intended for people with enhanced care needs who are involved in the criminal justice system.
Speakers will include managers from the Regional Forensic Psychiatry Clinics, including Susan Rodger, Manager – Forensic Psychiatric Services, Clinical Operations, and Ramiro Dominguez, Team Manager - Forensic Assertive Community Treatment. Talent Acquisition Advisors Sheila Johnston and Theendy Lai will also be present.
