About this Event

On behalf of United Way Greater Toronto’s Black Community Advisory Council (BCAC), we would like to invite you to our “Black Leadership and Recognition Breakfast. The event will bring together voices of community, business leaders and policy makers to discuss critical next steps for creating change in the lives of the most vulnerable in our community and serve as an opportunity to launch Black History Month 2019.

We will also honour civic leadership and efforts of community members who have contributed to furthering these values during our awards recognition

The United Way of Greator Toronto launched the Black Community Advisory Council (BCAC) in 2010 to increase United Way’s understanding of challenges affecting the Black community in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga and collectively address these issues to create positive impact.

Come out and join the conversation hearing from our insightful panellists - on the education system in Peel and the challenges, advancements being done in Peel
