Description

Explore the power of a safe and stable backbend in the next session of Twisted Willow Studio's Be CommUnity Fundamentals of Yoga workshop series.

Backbending in asana (physical yoga practice) can be an expansive and freeing movement pattern. Join instructor Alysia Miller to learn how to properly support your body in basic backbending yoga poses, working from the floor up to standing. Cultivate an open heart, strong body, and steady mind.

All levels welcome! We will work with props and modifications to find an effective practice for all bodies.
Participants must be able to move from floor to seated to standing unassisted.

Be CommUNITY - Yoga Foundation Workshops are hosted by donation to help support local charities and organizations in your community. A suggested donation is $5 and a canned food item.
