Many high performing professionals have admitted a big part of their success comes from their ability to connect quickly with others and being able to think fast on their feet. Improv is one of the main exercises that teaches those core skills and is a little known secret in the business world.

Improv is beneficial for all those professional who are or who want to be more dynamic leaders, memorable salespeople, client facing professionals, and job seekers.

AWB has arrange for a free evening of Improv training with improv professionals Asiansploitation! This exciting session hosted by Asiansploitation’s very own James and Jeff will be tailored to the young asian professional community. They will guide you through small team games and situations where you can be yourself, improvise, and have fun. It will include a debrief and discussion about the activities and what we can learn from them to improve our social interaction skills.

Try this safe and rewarding workshop to help develop a memorable personally and advance professionally. Come prepared to get up and participate in the workshop. They best way to learn is to do!

About our Facilitators

Jeff B Santos has co-written and performed in all of the Asiansploitation sketch shows since he co-founded the troupe along with Glenn Gabriel and Gary Chan in 2006. He has also hosted and led many of Asiansploitation's Improv Shows and Workshops including their popular monthly Comedy Labs and LiveProv Comedy Jams. Outside of Asiansploitation, he has performed in numerous Toronto Fringe Shows.

James Cheng is an actor, writer and founding member of Asiansploitation. He leads community and corporate Improv workshops, has appeared in TV documentaries and has been seen in short films such as "Magicical Coincidence" in 2012, and "Go For Broke" in 2015. He is currently a Marketing Manager at BIC.

This session will also be co-hosted by a fellow Asiansplolitation alumnus.
