BearPaw U Presentation (for youth)

BearPaw Media will join us to talk about their latest educational tool for youth and young adults (grades 7-12):

• BearPaw U is a series of fun, free, and fast, online mini-courses designed to help Indigenous youth and young adults build skills, improve legal knowledge, and earn free swag. These mini-courses contain relevant legal information and encourage youth to be positive and exercise their self-determination.

• The free Connections app is a critical tool to make sure youth and young adults have convenient and immediate access to important supports and resources on topics such as housing, budgeting, school, employment and mental health. The aim is to help make the transition into adulthood a little easier. The app provides practical information, including how to do your taxes, easy recipes and life hacks for household chores.
