KIAC Ballroom - Dënäkär Zho

Doors open at 7:30

Becky Johnson of the Sufferettes and writer for Baroness von Sketch Show returns to the Yukon, this time accompanied by Taz VanRassel of The Sunday Service improv troupe from Vancouver BC. With their combined credits, Becky and Taz are experts in improv theatre and will be treating audiences to a night of diverse and heartfelt longform improvisation with a collaboration from Toronto-based technical and multimedia improviser Mark Andrada.

Becky Johnson has been performing silly things in various ways for over twenty years. This has led her to the main stage of Second City in Toronto and the writing rooms of CBC’s Baroness Von Sketch and This Hour has 22 Minutes. In improv, she is probably best known as one half of lauded Toronto improv duos IRON COBRA (with Graham Wagner) and The Sufferettes (with Kayla Lorette) and as a long-time co-producer at Catch23 Improv at Comedy Bar.

Taz Van Rassel is a Canadian Comedian and Actor primarily known as a founding member of improv troupe the Sunday Service, the Instant Theatre Company, and the sketch comedy group Titmouse!, as well as a 9-year member of the Vancouver TheatreSports League. He was nominated as Best Male Improviser in Canada at The Canadian Comedy Awards from 2007-2015
