About this event
This course follows last year's Beekeeping 101, but all are welcome to attend - whether having participated in a previous beekeeping workshop or not.
Join Janine for an interactive presentation covering:
- Adding honey bees to the farm: on-farm and soy pollination
- Honey bees and pesticides
- Honey bees and native pollinators: is there competition?
- Approx 30 minutes of Q&A: please bring your honey bee related questions!
Beekeeping: Part Two will be offered as a hybrid event. Purchase your virtual ticket here and join us via Zoom, OR email info@greyagservices.ca to RSVP for the in-person component and attend at Grey Ag Services, 206 Toronto St. S, Unit 3, Markdale ON.

About the organizer
Grey County Agricultural Services opened in 2000 when funding cuts closed the Markdale OMAFRA office, and local support was rallied to open Grey Ag in its place. Since then, Grey Ag Services has established many contracts and connections in order to serve the local agricultural community.
One of the largest efforts throughout the year is the Winter Course program. For over 20 years, Grey Ag Services has worked with local experts to get information to farmers and rural residents through the Winter Course program delivery. Please see our website for a full listing of our programs and services, and further details on the current course roster. www.greyagservices.ca.
