About this event
Rosedale Quintet is a group of amateur players that was formed in November 2019. We all have unrelated day jobs and are very different in many ways but for one thing: passion for music. We call ourselves “amateur” with pride, not because we don’t play well but because the word's origin stems from Latin amare “to love”. In our case, the love of music. Our evenings and weekend are filled with rehearsals, lessons, and recitals, and it’s exactly what helped us stay afloat during the pandemic: connection to the community and to our deepest roots as human beings. And we would love to share this energy with you again, on April 14, 2022, at our second event.
Date: Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Time: 7:00 pm doors open
7:30 pm – 9:00 pm concert with intermission
Program: L. van Beethoven Sonata for Violin and Cello (Duet with two obbligato eyeglasses)
L. van Beethoven Sonata in A major for Cello and Piano Op.69
F. Mendelssohn Piano Trio no.1 in D Minor Op.49
Reminder: Masks are optional. The hall has washrooms but no food is permitted inside.
