Beginner Aerobic & Body Weight Workout From Home

Hello heroes new and old! It’s ya Boy—Wonderful, and I’m here to help get your body movin’ and groovin’.
Every workout is a different genre, theme, or artist. They're fun and easy with tonnes of customizability. Made to be performed in small spaces such as a bedroom or living room. You will not need equipment to perform any exercise although you may wish to have hand weights and/or a yoga mat to add both intensity and comfort.
The total run time from start to finish is a little over an hour. There’s about fifteen minutes of prep time for people to come in and chat. Participants are not required to chat nor have a Twitch account, however chatting does require an account (it's free).
We begin the class at 8:30pm EST on Wednesdays or 2pm EST on Saturdays.
---- WORKOUT FORMAT ----
- On any given day there is anywhere from seven to ten songs all curated under a difference specific genre or theme.
- Each song has a different purpose. There is a Legs track, an Arm/Boxing track, and a Core track. Then, between them, we have cardio tracks.
- The workout uses an interval format: (usually) 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest for body weight tracks and 30 seconds work, no rest for cardio. Very occasionally there will be a song that I’ve completely curated and is more follow along with me style.
- Between songs there is a short break where I explain the exercises of the next track. Sometimes there will be something I call “doubles” or “triples”.
- A double means that we’re doing two tracks back to back with no break and a triple means we’re doing three tracks back to back with no break.
---- IMPORTANT NOTES ----
- You can come in and out at any time. Stay for a little or stay for the whole thing. Do only the arms, do only the legs, do only the cardio tracks. Hang out in the chat to watch and listen to the music. Whatever level of involvement you want to have is the perfect level of involvement.
- Twitch is a free live-streaming service. Unlike Zoom, we cannot see one another. You can only see me! So don't be shy and give it a try 🙂
- I'm a fat person teaching fitness, and that's that.
- I sing, I yell, I swear. If that's not for you, move along! If it is, come sing, yell, and swear with me! It's quite cathartic.

A movement & performance artist with a history in Muay Thai. Once far too obsessive about fitness and weight, life and injury took me out of the game entirely (for better or for worse). I fell into a spiral of binging and dismissing my body's physicality.
Late 2019, enough was enough. I picked up my weights, put my knowledge and skills to use, added some attitude and ventured onward to create fun, easy to follow, and effective routines. Together with YOU we can be the heroes of our life story.
