Join us at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum for a full day introduction to Blacksmithing workshop. The workshop will begin at 9am, you'll start with a coffee while our Blacksmith presents introductory information on blacksmithing and the process involved. Once you've completed the introduction you'll then move on to the forge where you'll begin working on your project with the guidance and help of the Blacksmith.
This workshop is tailored to adults, 18+ only.
There will be an hour break for lunch, please bring yourself something to eat. Please ensure you're dressed appropriately - steel-toed boots, and for clothing you must wear non-flammable long sleeves and long pants (ie. jeans and a long sleeve cotton shirt). Long hair should be tied back. Eyewear and gloves will be provided.
As this workshop will be hosted in the winter months, we require a phone number from attendees in the event we need to cancel or reschedule due to bad weather.
